This Is What Happens To A Soap Bubble In Winter
There was -16°C (3,2F) in Zlín, in the Czech Republic, when I finally resolved to try some photos of frozen soap bubbles. A lot of patience, clothing layers and good light resulted in these macro photos.
Bubbles rapidly froze and formed beautiful hexagonal and fern-like crystal patterns. It took me about one hour of cold work and one sick husband/assistant after all.
